Kongsberg Agenda was held for the second time this year. On Wednesday, Kongsberg Innovasjon hosted a gathering in the courtyard of Privat Bar to explore a compelling question: “Does new technology create a better world?”
One year has passed since Kongsberg Innovasjon hosted its biggest event to date — and this year, we aimed not just to repeat it, but to surpass it. More than 100 people gathered at Privat Bar this afternoon. Technology, security, crisis, and sustainability were recurring themes among the speakers and audience alike. The day ended with an afterwork event, with key discussions centered on artificial intelligence, leadership, and the importance of diversity for the future.
For industry to succeed in global competition, it’s essential to highlight key focus areas through valuable projects and collaboration.
The world is undergoing a global transformation — one that requires greater sustainability, competence, economic efficiency, and resource optimization. This transformation, often referred to as the green shift, will significantly change the way we live, and how products, technologies, and industries are developed. It involves complex challenges that demand innovation, commitment, engagement — and, most importantly, cross-industry collaboration.
Between the presentations, conversations flowed throughout the courtyard. Across different industries, new connections were formed, and participants had the opportunity to share knowledge and experience.
Some of the most innovative tech companies in the Kongsberg Innovasjon network took the stage. From retrieving data from the ocean floor to an app that’s actively saving lives in Ukraine, the pitches sparked both curiosity and admiration.
After a full and exciting day, we teamed up with Sparebank 1, SHE Community, and the Kongsberg Technology Cluster to host an afterwork session. Attendees were invited to lean back — and be provoked, engaged, and inspired, all at once. The theme was Tech as a Game Changer, with insights on AI, masculine and feminine leadership styles, and who really holds the power in technological development.
